My trip to Cobble Beach for the Concours d’Elegance
Well you don’t do this everyday. This past Sunday I was lucky enough to attend the Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance. What is this amazing event? Let me tell you.
Inspired by the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance Rob McLeese and his family started this event in 2013 after years of planning. It’s an exotic car show ranging from pre-war to post-war classics to flashy modern day sports cars from all over North America. I must say it went off without a hitch on Sunday (it could of been a little warmer for some attendees) after some rain on Saturday. I attended the second day and thank god it didn’t rain because the show was amazing!
Taking place on the 18th fairway of Cobble Beach Golf Resort, cars were lined up for judges and attendees to gaze upon these mechanical works of art. I was told that judges make the event and that they had the very best from all over North America. They pick the top 3 in their class with the best in each class vying for the coveted finale of Best in Show (I love that movie).
Here is my trip in a nutshell starting on Lake Rosseau in Muskoka.

What a day! Thank you to all who made this happen (you know who you are). I will remember it for the rest of my life.
