Now I know my last few blogs have been about Queen West and all its glory, but there’s another side of Queen Street that I also love.  Queen East!  Riverside, Leslieville and the Beaches.  Awesome neighbourhoods close to downtown with a great sense of community.   I spend quite a bit of time on the east side with friends, family and clients looking to buy or sell.  I know it very well just like its counter part Queen West.  The debate could go on forever so I’m going to settle it right now…Queen Street West or East…both rock!  Done.

Today I attended a VIP showcase of a new development that will be constructed just east of the DVP and just south of Queen Street East.  Streetcar Developments not only will construct this new condo building, but build a community around it.  Riverside Square Lofts being the first phase of the project.

Designed by RAW Design the building offers a wide variety of units ranging from one bedrooms to 3 bedrooms (whaaaaat?? that’s unheard of these days).  Its sleek angles and green roofs show that care was taken with the design keeping in mind the community and the environment.
