I have first hand knowledge of this awesome neighbourhood by being a resident for the past 4 years. What you’ve heard is true! I love this area, in fact, we bought a house five blocks from where we currently live to stay in the neighbourhood for at least five more years.

West Queen West (or as most people call it Queen West) is very diverse in it’s culture. It has something for everybody; students, young professionals, families (all sizes), new residents, lifers or long time residents (strong Portuguese community), quiet friendly residential neighbourhoods, low and high rise condos, authentic lofts, restaurants, bars, outstanding inner city parks (Trinity-Bellwoods), galleries, cafes, shops, easy access to major traffic routes, close to the downtown core and the list goes on.

Honestly, it’s the best neighbourhood in Toronto! And I’m not just saying that cause I’m bias and live here, it’s true. Okay…maybe I am, but still… I love it. There are many great neighbourhoods in Toronto and that’s what I love so much about this city, but there’s something about Queen West that appeals to many types of people making it a highly desirable place to live.
