THIS JUST IN…AT THE END OF OCTOBER THIS WONDERFUL NOODLE SPOT WILL BE SHUT DOWN.  I SUGGEST YOU GET IN THERE QUICK TO TASTE THEIR WONDERFUL FOOD.

My fiancée is a noodle freak.  Wait, does that sound bad?

Anyway, this Ramen Noodle and Snack Bar from the Owners of Yours Truly (another one of our favourite restaurants) at Queen and Shaw opened nearly a year ago. It took us far too long to check it out and after lots of moaning and groaning from Jess that ALL she wanted for dinner was A OK noodles, we went for a mid week meal.

To be honest the communal picnic tables are cool, but not the most comfortable, we opted for the window seats up front.

The menu is small but less is more here!

We shared an order of the Chino Wings…the bomb! But the real draw here are the Ramen Noodles.

The Shoyu Ramen Noodle Bowl (steaming hot chicken broth, pork belly, crispy seaweed cracker, homemade noodles, goji berries, soft boiled egg and spring onion)  for only $10.50 is so off the chain that if I’m able to perfect this recipe or get Jess here once a month I feel like I could do no wrong.  Happy wife, happy life right?

We also started our dinner with an interesting Ginger Beer cocktail that went really well with our salty meal.

Why we go:  Shoyu Ramen Noodle Bowl, don’t even think about getting the cold noodles, Good Bang for your Buck.
